Music Review

I really like music. Most people do. Music makes life more interesting. Music is the sound of emotion. It can soothe, excite, or anything in between. It can help us to remember the past or to help us forget. Music is a powerful influence on us all, whether we realize it or not. With that being said, I think it’s time for another Jejune Bulletin music review.

Today we’ll be discussing the album Bloom by The Morning Birds. Bloom is definitely a music album. The album has six songs and was released 12 August, 2014. It’s pretty good if you like that kind of music. It doesn’t sound anything like Hank Williams or Van Halen.

I listened to the first track and I was all like “cool”. Then the second track hit and I was all like “hhhmmmmm” and “alright”. The third track had me all like “wait…what”? When I got to track number four, I went “hhhmmmmm…cool”. Track five was a little different. Track five was all like “mm mm mmm mm mmmmm…yeah…mmm mmm”. Track six, the last track, came full circle back to “cool” and sometimes “yeah” and “what”.

This is a really nice album unless you don’t like this kind of music. If that’s the case, you probably won’t like it. It sounds nothing like George Jones or One Direction, but it is music and you might like it. You should spend money on it if you do like it. Overall, I’d give this album 7 out of 10 stars. The band also has a website with information on it. They’re probably going to be playing somewhere too. You should go see them if you like them and/or their music.
